Most uni students who contact me for essay help, is for a plan to get underway writing.
Discovering and developing your Writing Voice is an Art, and it will take time. Sometimes student's are impatient to just get a psychology essay done. However, if you don't provide yourself with an outline (plan), you are less likely to Draft, and thus create a logical and rich argument.
So I thought I would share the basic critical essay template I use to create an Outline for a student. I tweak the word count to suit; using a general rule that the intro and conclusion are each 10% of the total word count. When a particular Point in the Body requires more emphasis I assign more words to that section.
